The rights of Insulin: Are we all doing it right?

A session on insulin was taken on 18.2.2022 in order to throw limelight on the Insulin techniques and the correct methods of administering it.  We had Dr. Uthra, Senior Consultant Diabetologist, Dr.Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre and Dr. Shuchy Chugh Diabetes Education Specialist – Novo Nordisk India Pvt LTD.on board to talk on this session. It was an interactive session, where we had a discussion on storage, disposal and carrying of insulin. Dr. Shuchy Chugh narrated her inspiring story of leading 32 years of life defeating Type 1 diabetes and how she could lead her life with a beautiful smile against the sympathy of society. We also had a chat on various mistakes that we make in everyday life with insulin and is a cause of poor glycaemic control.
