Stage performances by children with type 1 diabetes

Every year as part of World Diabetes Day awareness program, children with type 1 diabetes from the Friends Forever – support group perform on stage.  This is done in order to reiterate that Type 1 diabetes is only a disorder and not a disease. The children can have a normal childhood and if encouraged can outperform normal children with out insulin deficiency. This also boosts the morale of the children and helps them express their creative talents in front of a large audience.

During the program Type 1 diabetes children from Friends Forever-Support group gave a wonderful dance performance on the patriotic song ‘VANDE MATATRAM’. They danced for 15 mins mixing dance with some acrobatics and thus showcasing that type 1 diabetes is not a barrier to exhibit the inner talents.
